The Tippy is Warm

well after a series of unfortunate events the tippy is warm. starting last saturday when we got to the tippy and i called the gas company it was nearly a comedy of errors until the gas company, the furnace repair man, and the county inspector got done with us it is now a week later until we get to sleep in our own beds.

we are extremely grateful to zach and jenny for their continued and gracious hospitality. they thought they were getting rid of one troll in the basement and ended up with six :-)

next on the mjm family wish list - hooking up the dryer, investigating internet service, a garage door opener that works, and picking up our stove in illinois.

this last week reminded us just how much we have to be thankful for - safety, food to eat, clothes to wear, and multiple places to be warm and dry.

in case this post sounds different this is the dad posting. with all of the happenings of getting the family re-situated in indiana i also had my first gw board meeting and also the annual gw representative meetings. it was a very uplifting weekend as many people shared what gateway has meant to them and reminded me why i am thankful to be a part of such a great organization doing God's work.
